A Southern California ranch formerly owned by the late actor Patrick Swayze has resurfaced on the market for $4.5 million, according to Mansion Global—and yes, it does come with a dance studio. The Dirty Dancing star bought the 4.5-acre San Fernando Valley property in the 1980s with his wife, dancer and actor Lisa Niemi. “We have built a really nice facility including a 16-stall barn, a roundyard and two arenas,” Swayze said of the equestrian estate, known as Rancho Bizarro, in a 1997 interview. The pair, who spent their spare time breeding and riding Arabian horses, also owned a horse ranch in New Mexico.

Niemi sold the compound, which is tucked behind gates at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac, to philanthropist and oil heiress Aileen Getty for $2.9 million in 2015. That was the last time that the hillside estate changed hands.

The property hosts an updated 1940s ranch-style home as well as a guest cottage in addition to its equestrian facilities. Spanning about 3,500 square feet, the main home on the property houses three bedrooms and five bathrooms. A rustic wood-paneled living room topped with exposed beams and an antler chandelier provides space to sit fireside, with french doors opening out to stone-paved patios. An all-white kitchen shares an open floor plan with an atrium-style dining space, accented with patterned wallpaper featuring roaming tigers and watercolor greenery. Glass atrium walls look out over a freeform swimming pool nestled amongst the desert landscaping.

The primary bedroom boasts dramatic vaulted wood ceilings, a fireplace, and an airy ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, dusty rose tiles, and a soaking tub with a window view. The Point Break actor’s former dance studio can also be found inside the residence; the roomy mirror-lined space would also make for a great home gym.
